Mobile phone repeaters

Do you suffers from frequent drop-outs or connection problems on your mobile phone? More often than not these are caused by poor reception. This is particularly obvious if your house/office contains deadspots where anyone with a mobile loses their signal. The interesting thing about this phenomenon is that when I’ve come across it in the past it seems that certain signals are more susceptible to the problem than others. So, you’ll be able to get a signal with one carrier, but not with another.

So, what can you do if this problem is causing you grief. Well, one solution that’s available today is to get a mobile phone repeater. Cell Phone Repeaters are getting more and more popular as they come down in price and mobile phones become more pervasive. They’re not cheap, but if your office has a recurrent problem you may want to invest in one to improve the situation for everyone in there.

By the way, an interesting side-effect of installing a repeater is that your mobile battery will last longer, as your phone won’t be struggling to try and acquire a signal. If you’re interested in reading more about it, there’s a good blog post here.
