Ahhh .. some interesting reading! Building Interoperable Web Services: WS-I Basic Profile 1.0 is the latest in patterns & practices released by Microsoft. Haven’t had chance to read it yet, but the summary states that it covers WS-I Basic Profile contents together with some discussion around implementation and options.
