Last week, the Isle of Man hosted a lecture by Professor Brian Cox. He’s a particle physicist who has been on TV many a time, and you can tell why by watching his lecture. It was quite interesting to listen to a science lecture that has been toned down for all to understand. Anyway, WiManx were there to stream the event so that it could be seen by others who were unable to go to the event.
The lecture was followed by a session with the NASA astronaut team who piloted STS133, the last Discovery Space Shuttle mission. There are some amazing snippets they brought with them to show including a farewell reel to the Space Shuttle. Definitely one to watch if you have an interest in Space.
