The weekend is always a great time to collect some cool links from around the Web and share them with my readers. After all, what’s a Honeypot without some Honey. So without any further ado:
- Yotel: Hotel chain in a couple of European airports where you can hire a cabin for as little as 4 hours. What an amazing concept.
- Is your personal blog working for or against you? A must read for all bloggers.
- Letter writing is dead. Just join Facebook: The new way to keep in touch with old friends.
- Widgenie: Create your own widget to share your data.
- A 2.5 year old grievance: Blogger gets flame-grilled some something she posted over 2 years ago!
- Visual Trace Route: Find out where websites are in the world
- Firebug Power user demo: Ohh .. great stuff
- Home Pub: Here’s a great Xmas present. Get someone their very own pub.
- Plug into Now: Massive mashup with widgets from all over the Internet
- My mate Pete leaves Izea: He’ll be missed, but family comes first
There should be plenty to keep you distracted when you read this on Monday morning.

Great links! I didn’t want to work today, anyway, and now you’ve given me an excuse to spend time reading instead of working! Thanks.

Love the photo with this post. I would love to have my own Pub but fear that I might drink all of the profits LOL.

Ya, thanks for filling up my afternoon with such great stuff to read too
I’m glad you shared Pete’s post – it’s very sad to hear he’s leaving IZEA, especially with hard feelings, but he knows what is best for himself and his family.

Hey Owen,
Thanks for linking me mate – totally unexpected, and thanks for the well wishes.
I’ll be posting up some stories soon on my ‘return home’ (in a technical sense) covering what I’m doing now. Very technical, very pure, with a great deal of all important balance – you’d love it.
As a completely tangential aside I still to this very day shake my head in disbelief that we didn’t hire you into Edenbrook all those years ago. If ever you fancy a move out to the States though …..

I had no idea about Pete til reading your post, Owen. Thank you so much. I got to say good bye, at least. Anyway, the first link is one I have always wished we had when traveling. It would sure beat sleeping in a chair at the airport.

I probably wouldn’t have known about Pete leaving if you didn’t post the link. And the link about the blogger with the post over 2 years old, amazing!
