BPM – A CIO Perspective

Came across an interesting article in CIO magazine about Business Process Management (BPM). The interesting thing is that the article is 2 year old, yet perfectly applicable to the market place today. The article talks about the different types of BPM software available today, those with a workflow legacy and those with an EAI legacy; and how fragmented the offerings are in terms of functionality.

It also talks about the value that early adopters are obtaining from embracing this technology and also what organisations must keep in mind as they move towards understanding and accepting this technology. Good reading.
