Extra speed on Firefox - Browse at the speed of light!

I found this
posting
on Lockergnome. I essentially suggests a few tweaks for make Firefox load
pages even faster than usual:

All you’ve got to do is type “about:config” into your address bar, wait for it to
load, then alter the following entries: change “network.http.pipelining” to “true”,
“network.http.proxy.pipelining” to “true” and lastly “network.http.pipelining.maxrequests”
to 30, meaning it will be able to make 30 requests at once.


Implemented the changes, tested a few pages .. and pages DO load a bit quicker. How
will I ever use IE again !!

There’s some interested settings in there .. must have a look one of these days …
