Once an application is released to the outside world, a project gets exposed to requests for changes coming from a whole host of different parties. “Don’t Give In to Feature Demands” is an interesting article on the sort of feedback teams get and the bias different groups have when looking at an application. Excellent read if you’re involved in application or product development in any way.
I particularly like the graphic at the start of the article that illustrates for, if you try to satisfy each user’s choice of colour, you end up with something resembling mud
