I got myself one of the Wireless TV Extenders over the weekend. It works very nicely and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the picture at the receiving end. The cool bit is that the receiving unit actually relays any infrared signals from the remote control back to the sending device ( Sky Digital decoder in my case) so you can switch channels from the reciving unit also. The mechanism is a bit kludgy, essentially an infrared emitter you stick to the front of the sending device; but it works quite nicely. Recommended if you have a 2nd TV you want to see Sky on without getting a second decoder. |
