I must say I’m really impressed with GPRS.
This is the first time I’ve used the technology in anger, but I’m sitting on a train
posting an entry to my blog .. and it works!!
My laptop has a Bluetooth connection to my phone,
which is using a GPRS connection
to connect to the Internet. It’s all very seamless, except for when the phone requires
verification that it can trust my laptop; I’m sure that can be made smoother.
The other impressive thing is that you can use the phone to
make calls without interrupting the GPRS conversation.
I thought that was really slick.
