Bun in the oven

So, we have a fetal heartbeat,
so our pregnancy is now official. This is great news, because the risk of miscarriage
in the first trimester drops from 15% to 1% once a fetal heartbeat is detected.

It was wierd getting both good news and bad news at the same time. Our baby is doing
just fine, but only one embryo attached successfully. We’re elated that Hope has decided
to hang on and look forward to her joining us out here in the Real World. Losing Faith was
a blow, but she will always be in our hearts.

Baby’s estimated due date is 10th January 2006, so at least there’s some time to start
preparing.
