I’ve seen a number of hosting providers in the search for where to host my websites,
but I’ve never seen a cheap provider that provided clustered servers. I’ve just come
across Hosting Zoom and their standard offering
consists of servers in a fail-over configuration with mirrored databases and replicated
disk storage. The beauty of this is that if there’s a problem with one of the servers,
the passive node jumps in and takes the load, so that the faulty node can be diagnosed
and repaired without any downtime. If you’re after a resilient website, check them
out!
