Personalising your Twitter page

Graduating Teacher Wearing Mortarboard and Eyeglasses

Have you noticed how some Twitter users seem to have a personalised Twitter page, with contact details and photos all around? Apparently it was a new trend that was started by @waynesutton and then also popularized by @problogger. I came across a great post where someone explains how it implemented the same change on his profile: @keithdsouza.

I’m not going to go through the process, which you can read and implement here; just mention that it uses a cool concept of generating an image that holds all the information you need. You see, your Twitter profile page only lets you put a single image as background, but the tutorial shows you how can create an image that holds all the information you need and looks really good. Don’t take my word for it, check it out here
