			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Well, I now have 43 pieces of the HP Camera puzzle. Here&#8217;s the last one out:</p>
<p><img src="https://payperpost.com/opportunities/images/4106/photopuzzler20_.jpg" align="left" /> This is one of 48 pieces that PayPerPost has spread around the web. You know the drill, the first person to collect all 48 pieces, put them together and let PPP know could win $1000. HP is sponsoring the puzzle and this post. I may have said this before.</p>
<p>To tell you the truth, I haven&#8217;t done that much <a href="http://www.hp.com/united-states/consumer/digital_photography/home_f.html">Digital Photo Printing</a>. I have an inkjet at home which can print some decent colour images, but it&#8217;s not really as good as a dedicated photo printer. Might get myself one of those some time. Since Arthur came along we&#8217;ve been taking tons of photos and it&#8217;s really nice to print some out to give to family and friend.</p>
<p>Anyway, I&#8217;ll leave you with the competition. But remember, if you&#8217;re not signed up with PayPerPost you can&#8217;t win. The nice thing about PayPerPost is that they actually pay you to post things to your blog, so if you&#8217;re looking to monitise you&#8217;re blog, sign up here:</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img src="https://payperpost.com/opportunities/images/4027/phopuzzle17_.jpg" align="left" /> Yup, you guessed it, here&#8217;s another puzzle piece for your collection.</p>
<p>So, in case you haven&#8217;t already got the story, what is this puzzle all about. Well, it&#8217;s like this. HP is trying to promote some awareness about it&#8217;s offerings in the <a href="http://www.hp.com/united-states/consumer/digital_photography/home_f.html">Digital Photo Printing</a> market. It&#8217;s doing this by sponsoring a number of posts about the subject (including this one) and a competition to promote it&#8217;s products.</p>
<p>The competition centres around Michelle who was lucky enough to win an HP camera. A collage of her photos has been split up into 48 pieces and spread all around the internet on people&#8217;s blogs. The first person to amass all 48 pieces is in the running to win $1000. Not bad huh?</p>
<p>So, start hunting .. and Good Luck !</p>

<p>Thanks go to the folks at PayPerPost and HP (who are vying for market postition with respect to <a href="http://www.hp.com/united-states/consumer/digital_photography/home_f.html">Digital Photo Printing</a>) for sponsoring this post. Oh, and I should also thank Michelle for taking all these photos with her HP camera.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I&#8217;m having a good day today. I started having a look at the PayPerPost HP puzzle today, and have collected all the pieces I can to date. This everning I&#8217;ve come across another.</p>
<p><img src="https://payperpost.com/opportunities/images/3950/photopuzzl38_.jpg" align="left" /> This is another bit of the puzzle that they PayPerPost are doing to promote HP&#8217;s drive to become a leader in <a href="http://www.hp.com/united-states/consumer/digital_photography/home_f.html">Digital Photo Printing</a>. To do this they are sponsoring this post and many others around the web to post different bits of the puzzle on their blog. The puzzle pieces show a collage of photos that Michelle, an avid blogger, has taken with her HP camera. And, in case you haven&#8217;t gathered it from my previous posts, there&#8217;s a $1000 prize pot at the end of the puzzle.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s an interesting debate abother how effective viral schemes are as compared to traditional advertising.? The biggest problem is that although you can measure the cost of a campaign such as this one, tangabile measure of success are harder to articulate. How do you attribute a purchase decision to someone being exposed to this post? Tricky huh?</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>So, I&#8217;ve decided to try and catch up and do the PayPerPost puzzle. It&#8217;s the same format as the previous one, basically a picture has been split up into 48 pieces and spread all around the web. They&#8217;re all based around a promotional push by HP who is pushing to become the market leader of <a href="http://www.hp.com/united-states/consumer/digital_photography/home_f.html">Digital Photo Printing</a> and is sponsoring a number of posts (including this one) to ask bloggers to leave pieces on their blog. There&#8217;s one piece already on this blog, and here&#8217;s another for your collection pleasure:</p>
<p><img src="https://payperpost.com/opportunities/images/3936/photopuzzle_1_.jpg" align="left" /> The picture is all about one PayPerPost winner (who won an HP camera), who took a number of photos and put them into a collage. If you collect all the pieces and put them together, there&#8217;s a $1000 prize you could be winning. So why wait? Start collecting today.</p>
<p>That makes 16 pieces I have so far. How many do you have ?</p>

<p>It allows you to drop your images into a folder without messing around with the HTML of the grid. How does it work?</p>
<ol>
<li>Create a folder on your desktop for your PPP pieces</li>
<li>Copy the HTML file into it</li>
<li>Copy each of your pieces in, but rename them so that their file name is just a number. Example hpphot3.jpg becomes 3.jpg</li>
<li>Double click on the HTML file. And here&#8217;s your image</li>

<p>Let me know if you need any changes to it</p>

So I&#8217;ve taken part in 3 puzzles by <a href="http://www.payperpost.com">PayPerPost</a> so far; and they have all been great fun. The first one was called the Blue Monster puzzle and involved 192 pieces. The second was around RockStartup and was 30 pieces, if my memory serves me right. The one that&#8217;s running at the moment is 48 pieces in size and we&#8217;re supposed to search for the term &#8220;hp camera&#8221;; as you can guess, this one is sponsered by <a href="http://www.hp.com/united-states/consumer/digital_photography/home_f.html">HP</a>, so thanks for all the fun.
</p>
<p>All the pieces are hidden on people&#8217;s blogs; some in more obvious places than other. I&#8217;ve already put some up on this blog .. and now I have an exclusive piece that has come to me through space and time &#8230; </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>So, PayPerPost is running <a href="http://blog.payperpost.com/2007/01/allo-and-bonjour.html">another puzzle</a>, this time based around Veronique&#8217;s holiday in Europe. The finished product is this:</p>
<div><img src="http://blog.payperpost.com/uploaded_images/HP_puzzle_small-787299.jpg" alt="" /></div>
<p>So, to help people put this together, here&#8217;s another grid to use to put your pieces together: <a href="http://www.u-g-h.com/content/binary/hp_puzzle.html">hp_puzzle.html (2.28 KB)</a></p>
<p>This one&#8217;s pretty similar to the one for the past puzzle, but if I have time I want to add some more fancy stuff to it, namely the ability to resize the grid (and get the finished product in one screenshot), turn the numbers on and off and change the spacing between cells. But maybe not tonight &#8230;</p>
