It’s a sidebar widget I’ve called GeoWidget that lets you add a map to your website. You an use the map for anything you like. You can show where you live, where your idol lives, or where you work. Here’s a look at what the administration console looks like:

Neat huh? The map display is interactive and supplied by Microsoft Live Earth. It’s the first time I’ve played around with mashups and I’m impressed at how easy it was to get great looking results. Anyway, if you have a WordPress blog download GeoWidget and let me know what you think.

It’s not that useful to me at the moment, as I’m based in the Isle of Man and we don’t really have congestion problems here, but I like what Regional Traffic have done with their website.

My favourite feature? Well, traffic reports and route mapping now seem to be a standard with these type of websites, but where this site really stands out is that it also reports availability of car parks in the area you’re looking at and how many spaces are available! I’ve only seen this information around the Norwich area, but I’m sure other areas will follow. Check it out.

Firing up Google I came across this Top Box Office list that seems to indicate a good list of movies to look out for. Top film at the moment is DreamGirls, so that’s probably one to look out for.

The site I got this from is http://www.buymovies.com which seems to be an good place to get your movies. It’s a shopfront for Amazon which looks like it has had lots of work put into it. One of the best bits about the site is the ability to email the person who runs it with a question about a movie and let them do all the digging around for you to find the answer.

The website is a nice blend of services around the web. The shopping services are provided by AllPosters.com and Amazon.com, however the site offers a seemless buying experience that works well. Check it out when you have a chance
