This Thursday (18th September 2008) there are going to be two events which may interest people working in and around IT. I’m attending both, so here’s you chance to badger me into buying you a drink. So, what’s going on?

• Isle of Man Social Media Club – Third Thursday of the month as always. We had a great time last month, so why don’t you join us for the latest news about what’s happening in the social media space, on blogs, in Twitter and around Facebook, just to mention a few places.
• World Class Service Delivery – BCS (Isle of Man) – This talk presents a distillation of the best practices in IT service delivery. We will touch on existing and developing global IT standards, and IT performance aspirations including ITIL v3 and related best practice methodologies.
