Looks like Google’s datacentres are in the middle of another Page Rank update. Google does this from time to time to update it’s published values for Page Rank used by third party services (for example the Google Toolbar). Anyway, while the Google Dance is ongoing you can see some interesting results. Here’s what Google.com showed up as on a PR checker:

(As you probably realise, that’s a bit tongue-in-cheek. Sites will be getting erratic readings until all updates are complete)

Thank for your information. My personal blog actually have PR 3, but now it is showing PR1.

My newest blog just went up from 0 to 2 and I am actually quite happy about it; other blogs that I know of shot up to Pagerank 4 for no obvious reasons.

In that sense I am thinking some of us got lucky without doing much for it and it will be adjusted in good time as soon as Google figures out they overshot the mark (again, and agin, and agin).
