I’ve been doing a lot of Visio work lately, working on presentations for my employer. Here is a list of useful Visio stencils, downloads, and even a blog:

- Great Shapes for Conceptual Architecture Diagrams in Visio (Part 2) - instructions on how to improve your diagrams, including a server shape download.
- Great Shapes for Conceptual Architecture Diagrams in Visio (Part 3) - how to create your own Visio shapes (SVG format) and the popular Microsoft “web service” shape download.
- Visio Download Sites - good list of downloads from a Visio MVP.
- Stencil Download - UML 2.0 template for Visio that does not do any validation of your UML, highly recommended.
- Stencils for the Savvy Manager’s Guide - ideas for some decent stencil shapes, though I didn’t actually pay the money and download them.
Must check them out sometime …
