Went to watch Pirates of Penzance this weekend, put on by the Julian Light Operatic Society in Ealing. I must say that I quite enjoyed it, especially as it was the first Gilbert and Sullivan operatta I’ve ever seen. Yes, shame on me. One thing I can say after having seen it; thank goodness I’m not a police officer
