As part of the production, they are looking for YOUR input in their video marketing survey. They will present the results in an animated infographic during the finished film. You can participate in the survey here.

Looks like Third Thursday is upon us once again! For those who have never come across it, it’s an opportunity for people interested in Social Media to get together, have a bite to eat and share thoughts and ideas about established and emerging Social Networking websites, capabilities and services.

It’s usually a pretty varied group around the table and conversations range from benefits and risks of Social Media, all the way to designing efficient algorithms for minifying Javascript. Yes, there are geeks among us, but there are also those who just want to learn more about Facebook, Twitter and Youtube and how they can be used in their daily or professional lives.

So please come and join us. It’s an open invitation, anyone can come and if you’re a regular try and bring along a friend too. This month will be slightly different as Glen from YourWebVideo will be hunting around for people’s opinions on the use of video online and we’ll get a chance to watch him in action. It’s bound to be fun!

As usual, we’ll be down at Paparazzi in Douglas at 12:30. There’s all the Wifi you can eat and we’ll grab some food while we’re there too. See you on the 19th!

Nathan’s organising a tweetup this Friday evening, which we’re hoping to make; and I wanted to post about it, just to get the word out in case some of you hadn’t heard. The plan for the evening is pretty simple:

This month we’re planning on having a bit of a bite at The Velvet Lobster on Friday 13th January. It’s their Jolly Time, which means cocktails are cheaper (and they are very good, made from fresh ingredients). After food, we’re hoping to grab a taxi down to the new Crescent Nightclub which has just re-opened for some frivolity, music and dancing.

Third Thursday has come nice and early this month, on the 15th of December; so this Thursday it’s time to come and meet your Social Media friends, to have a bite and discuss the latest and greatest. Come and tell us about your online exploits, the things you have learnt and even the mistakes you made. Social Media Club is a forum for anyone interested in Social Media to come and share ideas; we can all learn from one another and thee are tons of things we can learn from one another.

The venue is the same as usual, Paparazzi Restaurant at 12:30. It’s an open invitation, so please come and bring your friends. It doesn’t matter if you’re new on Facebook, or have been using Twitter for years; everyone is welcome.

It’s Third Thursday again this week and as usual, we’ll be meeting for a Social Media Club lunch at Paparazzi at 12:30. It’s a social event, open to anyone with an interest in Social Media. It doesn’t matter whether Facebook, Twitter, Google+ or YouTube is your thing; if you use these websites to generate and share content online, you’re bound to find someone at our gatherings you can share your experiences with.

So come and join us this Thursday. If you can’t make lunch, just pop in for a coffee. We’ll be there between 12:30 and 14:00. Come and see what your online friends look like, get some advice and share in the latest online gossip.

Third Thursday this month has come a bit earlier than I expected (15th), but that means it’s time for us all to meet down at Paparazzi for some grub and a natter. Yes, it’s Social Media Club lunch this Thursday!

For those who have never been, it’s an opportunity to catch up with your online friends and socialise in a casual environment. We usually end up chatting about all things social media related, from new social networking sites, to the perennial gadget debates; from best practices in social media for wok purposes, all the way interesting links we’ve come across recently.

It’s an open event that anyone can attend. Just pop down to Paparazzi in Douglas at 12:30 and come find us sitting in the corner. I’ll be a bit late this month, but @ProgramX has kindly agreed to meet and greet. Hope to see you all there!

It’s time for Social Media Club, a casual forum for Social Media enthusiasts to get together for a quick bite. It’s a great opportunity to meet people you know online, have a chat about the latest tech and find out how others are using social media in their personal and work lives.

Hey everyone. It’s the Third Thursday of the month again this week and as always, the Isle of Man Social Media Club is having it’s lunchtime meet up. Come and share your latest stories, learn about Social Media and find out what’s hot and what’s not. Come and meet your online friends and put names to faces. Come and tell us all about what you think about Google+. I’m sure these and other topics will all make the table this month.

I’m actually off-island for this one, so your host will be none other than @programx (who I’m sure you all know). He’s come to pretty much everyone of these lunches, so I’m sure you’re in capable hands.

So, where’s it being held? Our venue is Paparazzi Restaurant in Douglas, at 12:30 on Thursday 21st July. It’s an open event and everyone is welcome.

A day to celebrate the revolution of media becoming social. Celebrate Social Media Day with Mashable by attending or organising a meetup near you on June 30. Connect with your Social Media Community!

So, a couple of days ago I checked if anything was happening in the Isle of Man, and it turns out nothing had been organised yet. So I had a few words with @ProgramX and now we don’t have just a Social Media event .. we actually have TWO Social Media Events you can come to.

First of all we have a Social Media lunch. Same format as Social Media Club, down at Paparazzi at 12:30. It’s open to anyone with an interest in Social Media and a great opportunity for friends and colleague to mingle over a bite.

Next we’ve book a table at Danny’s Bar (Peveril Buildings, opposite Sea Terminal) for starting 6-6.30ish (ie. after work to catch people before they leave Douglas). Following food in Danny’s bar, we’ll move on to G+D’s for those that want to continue the evening with some dancing.

There are two events to try and attract as much interest as possible. If you’re office based and can only do lunch, come to that. If you’re out of town and can only make dinner, come to that. If you don’t have any commitments and can come to both, please do; you’re bound to meet a different crowd!

So, book the 30th June in your calendar and come socialise with your Social Media friends! Drop us a line if you’re coming.
