Reading the FON Blog, I’m seeing that they have finally managed to deploy FON across an entire high-rise building, in the Continental Diamond Plaza in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong. If you’ve never come across FON before, it’s a WiFi community where users share their Wifi, in exchange for free Wifi when they come in the range of someone else in the community. It’s a great idea, with the potential to convert the world into one giant WiFi hotspot. Read more about it here.
