Time for a HoneyPost

For those who are new to this blog, I sometimes put together a Honeypost which is a collection of links designed to distract the best of us from the things we’re supposed to be doing. It’s a greymatter honeypot dripping with juicy gooey honey. So here goes:

• Lock down SQL Server 2005: Stop those nasty hackers stealing your data.
• Giant Printer: Can you imagine the size of the inkjet cartridges for this printer?
• Free WiFi at Starbucks: Coffee drinkers around the US get free WiFi. Would love to have a Starbucks here in the Isle of Man
• BPM for Dummies: Have to get my hands on this one. Must ask the office to buy it
• Optimus Maximus: Steve at Central Software showed me this device on the web. I want one!
• Find and replace text with FART: Great writeup on the freebie software on LifeHacker
• Cable cut in the Med: Internet backbone fiber optic cables cut with an anchor
• Nokia N96: What a magnificent device. With 16Gb of solid state memory and a DVB TV tuner, what more could one want?
