Amazingly I read TechCrunch more often than I read this blog, but well, this time your blog came handy :-) Coming back to the subject here, I am not surprised. With more and more money at stake it's not surprising that there are people spending a lot of time and effort in manipulating the system. Disgusting or not (depending on where you draw the line), I know a lot of bloggers have done similar stuff to draw traffic to their sites (I can see this from the zillion 'tips' they post).
