Love FaceBook? What about your privacy?

My friend Legal Andrew has just put together a brilliant post after taking some time to study FaceBook’s Terms of Service. He maintains that your data on FaceBook isn’t private and also points out a number of terms that everyone should be aware of when contributing to their website.

For me however, I believe that living in today’s world necessitates a mandatory loss of privacy. If you want privacy, then lock yourself up at home and don’t speak to anyone .. and don’t interact online. How do you feel about it ?

  1. Hi Owen,

Thanks for the link! I definitely don’t advocate locking ourselves up in our houses. But it’s good to know what you’re agreeing to online. :)

  3. You’re probably right, I never actually read all the ToS of all the websites I use/take part in … God knows what I’m exposed to !
