I’m on the committee for the local chapter of the BCS and am responsible for sorting out out local events and speakers. Our next talk is on VOIP and is called “Business benefits of VOIP”. Here’s the blurb:
VOIP has brought about a massive change in the way telephony is used in business. It delivers the capability to change the way an organisation operates and the services it offers.
The talk will focus on the rise of VOIP, advantages of this technology and an outline of benefits and challenges from a recent implementation of a VOIP project for the Isle of Man Government.
The talk will be held at the Claremont Hotel on the 22nd of March at 18:00 for 18:30. Should be a good one. Come and join us.
That sounds interesting, but unfortunately I am nowhere near the talk.
Any chance of you writing up a small blurb about the Isle of Man VoIP rollout? 😉
