One thing you really need to watch out for when playing with The Venice Project is bandwidth. Streaming media is a pretty bandwidth-hungry application and The Venice Project delivers full-screen streaming media, so you can just imagine. The figures that they quote are that their software uses around 300Mb of downstream bandwidth and around 100Mb upstream per hour. This means that if you have a small bandwidth cap, you can max it out within hours.
I more than happy with the connection I have with my current provider WiManx. The reception I’ve seen has been flawless and having no cap is a great bonus. I’d recommend them to anyone in the Isle of Man.
