Pack is the easiest way to grab all the software that Google produce (or endorse
and distribute). The list includes predominently:
- Google Toolbar for IE
- Picasa
- Google Earth
- Google Desktop
- Google Talk
- Google Pack Screensaver
It also supplies you with
- Mozilla Firefox with Google Toolbar
- Norton AntiVirus 2005 Special Edition (with 6 months free updates)
- Adaware SE Personal
- Trillian
- RealPlayer
- GallaryPlayer HD Images
- Adobe Reader 7
Grab it while it’s hot: Google Pack
On a personal note, while I recommend all the Google software above (I already had
them all apart from the most excellent Google Screensaver), I seriously advise people
AGAINST installing the other software blindly. I personally left out Adaware and Trillian,
and the Norton Antivirus above is just a blatant attempt to suck you into a subscription
scheme. So go ahead, install the Google software, leave the others alone if you don’t
need them 🙂
