I read about
eBid on The
Register today and decided to check it out. It’s a direct competitor to eBay here
in the UK, but boasts much lower charges (including Free Listings) and a 24-hour response
to all enquiries. The main question is whether it can gain enough momentum to compete
directly with eBay. So, as a marketing push, they’re giving Gold Membership for the
price of an eBay auction tomorrow (29th September). I’ll be signing up, just to see
