I suppose the big news today is that Microsoft has started enforcing
it’s Windows Genuine Advantage initiative. OS updates will now not be
available to non WGA-compliant users, which means that pirated copies
of Windows will fall behind in their supply of patches, bug fixes and
enhanced features that Microsoft ships for Windows. Will be interesting
to see how the pirate community reacts. Press release here
