Why is it so hard to figure out which drivers are needed for certain types of equipment?
I spent most of today trying to trace drivers for a couple of webcams bought off eBay. To
cut a long story short, eventually I managed to find some matching drivers from a
site called DriverGuide.com. In case you’re
desperate for a driver, check them out; they have a pretty comprehensive collection
of drivers for all the hardware you’ve ever heard of, and most of the hardware you
never did.
They make you sign up and beg you to subscribe to some mailing lists, before they
send you a standard user name and password. In case you ever need to get in, the login
name is driver2 and the password is all.
