Ahh .. Sunday morning, a time to rest and regenerate .. NOT. Woke up this morning
quite early actually and couldn’t go back to sleep, so I decided to do some long-overdue
maintenance on the pool, “summerize” it, as most American website put it. So I cleaned
out the filter basket, topped up the water, backwashed the filter (been meaning to
do that for some time), threw in a bunch of chemicals and started crossing my fingers.
The water in the pool is currently lime green (!), which is to be expected after not
being used for the winter months. So, now to let the chemicals and my sand filter
do their magic. Hopefully, it should be clear in a few days. Found a great resource here.
