So, it’s goodbye Seattle, hello British
weather. I must say, I was pretty impressed by Seattle, there’s a great atmosphere,
great restaurants and we had
a good time there (though most of the time we were locked up in a room at Microsoft doing Biztalk stuff).
Looking back, it’s been almost 5 years since I moved to the UK now,
first to the Isle of Man and
then to just outside London. I must have started getting used to this place, because
Seattle holds the same fascination for me that London did
when I was back in Malta.
Coming to think of it, there aren’t many places I would prefer to live than here,
but I think Seattle just made that classification. Having said that, 10 days is really
too short a time to form an opinion about a place so maybe it’s just a touch of ‘grass
is greener’ syndrome.
